BENA
Bena is a London-based label created by Anita Gohil. The name Bena is derived from Anita’s mother’s nickname, while the brand itself came about as a spin-off from her fine art studies. As a poor student a little entrepreneurial spirit helped financially and before she knew it Anita was making DIY gifts, personalised T-shirts and drawings for her friends on a regular basis. The snowball effect of word-of-mouth soon saw Bena taken up by independent boutiques who of course loved the uniqueness of her accessories and gifts crafted from everyday objects.
