MIRIAM OCARIZ
Rising star of Spanish fashion Miriam Ocariz learned her craft at the Lanca International School in Bilbao, presenting her first womenswear collection at the Gaudí Fashion Show in Barcelona in 1996. Her designs often reference art - expressionism, conceptual and pop art have all inspired some of her prints and hand-painted designs. As well as this love of surface decoration her designs are characterised by feminine, elegant forms that are more about flattery than trend.
